In 2005 we heard many announcements of new possible theories of the formation of the Universe and watched a star shoot across the Galaxy. We watched for the first time stars being born and got closer to proving the existence of black holes.
We learned that Einsteinâs equation E=MC2 still holds after several new experiments throughout 2005. NASA scientists got some interesting discoveries as probes leaving the Solar System had changed speeds unexpectedly as the first manmade probes left the solar system.
Americans experienced a new debate or hybrid on the creationist concept thru a proposed âIntelligent Designâ with textbook and all which was to be taught in the Pennsylvania school system; the teaching of this theory was struck down by the State Supreme Court.
One scientist proposed that the Universe was shaped like a donut and if you looked forward far enough you could see yourself of course in a different time. Another also very respected scientists depicted and showed his poof that the Universe was like a balloon, which expands and contracts.
In 2006 many scientists will cling to the creationism theme while many more will abandon that for a more reasonable explanation, which fits reality based observations and proof.
In 2006 we will see an admission that there is much more to the Universe than the religious teachings of days gone by can explain away, thus giving hope for mankind to move forward again like he did when he found the Earth was round not flat. So think on that. More on this in 2006.
